We present here concepts and places for science based preventive health care centers

Science based safe and recreational fasting is a concept in many cultures: e.g. Buchinger fasting
Buchinger fasting is a procedure whereby a person voluntarily goes without food for a certain length of time, living mainly on their fat reserves instead. This stimulates autophagy and detox enzymes, resulting in a deep cleansing of the cells and tissue. At the same time, fasting reduces all inflammatory processes, alleviates pain and improves mobility. The success of fasting depends to a large extent on the four-day period at the end of the fast, during which patients at our clinic gradually start to eat normal meals again. During this process, dormant stem cells are activated and new structures built up. It is a period of regeneration (also called rejuvenation) with tremendous therapeutic potential.

Ayurveda
Ayurvedic medicine is one of the world’s oldest holistic healing systems. It was developed more than 3,000 years ago in India. It’s based on the belief that health and wellness depend on a delicate balance between the mind, body, and spirit. Its main goal is to promote good health, not fight disease. But treatments may be geared toward specific health problems. Ajurveda is based on holistic treatments including personalised nutrition which is pased on an holistic expert analysis. The Ayurveda Paragon is located approx. 130 km south of the capital of Colombo. The hotel is a prime example of light-flooded and open-air architecture perfectly suitable for the tropical climate of Sri Lanka. This clinic was found to meet all science based expectations as tested by an MDP- university professional.
